Lib Dems champion consumer rights: win energy price campaign

Energy companies will now have to inform customers BEFORE they change their prices.

Having previously rejected proposals from the Liberal Democrats, on Thursday govt ministers published their own amendment to the Energy Bill currently before Parliament that ends rules allowing energy companies to wait 65 days before notifying customers of price changes.
